(eap) The Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced the reintroduction of park presidents at ten of its key properties. After the company initially adopted a more regionally oriented operating structure in the course of the merger with Cedar Fair and abolished the position of park presidents, this step now underscores a renewed strategic adjustment. The aim of the new operating structure is to better support the specific requirements of each park and to strengthen performance across the entire portfolio.

In the future, the park presidents will serve as the accountable on-site leaders and will be responsible for park performance, operations and the overall guest experience. This is intended to make it easier for the parks to maximize opportunities and respond quickly within their local markets.

“These changes are about putting leadership, expertise and accountability as close to our guests and team members as possible,” said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags. “By strengthening park-level leadership, and aligning our support model with our strategic priorities, we’re empowering our teams to move faster, innovate locally and deliver exceptional experiences every day.”

All appointed park presidents have extensive experience in the leisure industry as well as in leadership positions within the Six Flags group. The new park presidents include:

• Christopher Mortensen – Canada’s Wonderland
• Bridgette Bywater – Carowinds
• Colleen Brady – Cedar Point
• Tony Carovillano – Kings Island
• Raffi Kaprelyan – Knott’s Berry Farm
• Mike Fehnel – Six Flags Great Adventure
• John Krajnak – Six Flags Great America
• Brian Oerding – Six Flags Magic Mountain
• Richard Pretlow – Six Flags Over Georgia
• Pete Carmichael – Six Flags Over Texas

“The ultimate goal is simple: to consistently deliver the best possible guest and team member experience across all parks,” Reilly added. “With the introduction of these park presidents, we are confident we have the right leaders in place to unlock the full potential of our parks and elevate performance.” ■
