Six Flags Started into the 2013 Season with Record-Breaking Figures

US operator group Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is already shining in the first quarter of this year with record-breaking numbers, despite the enormous extra burden created by Hurricane Irene. With total revenue of 88 million US dollars, the concern has achieved an increase of 32 percent over the previous year. “We delivered another record performance in attendance, revenue and cash flow thanks to strong execution by the entire Six Flags team”, said Jim Reid-Anderson, Chairman, President and CEO. Specific attendance figures for the first quarter of 2013 came in at 1.8 million guests in the group’s parks, representing an increase of 41 percent over last year. (eap)
