Slick City to Open Second UK Action Park in Liverpool

(eap) Following the opening of Europe’s first Slick City Action Park in Nottingham, UK, in March this year, the next British location is already on the horizon: A second park is scheduled to open in Liverpool in spring 2027. The new facility will be located at the Hunts Cross Shopping Park and, following the concept of existing Slick City Action Parks, will feature a wide range of large-scale dry slides and other active entertainment attractions for children, teenagers and adults.

Phillip James, Managing Director of Slick City UK, comments: “Liverpool and its people have a well-known reputation for being bold, outgoing and adventurous, so we could think of no better home for the launch of our second UK site. Following the successes of our first European site in Nottingham earlier this year, it’s clear to see that there’s a strong appetite here in the UK for days and experiences that defy the norm, and we want to bring a piece of that to Liverpool.”
In the US, where the first Slick City Action Park opened in 2022, there are now more than 100 locations. The company is also continuing its expansion across mainland Europe. Further parks are planned in partnership with European trampoline park operator Activeon, with two additional locations currently under development in Vienna (Austria) and Gothenburg (Sweden). ■
