Software Provider CoreGo Gains New Investor
(eap) Finnish software company CoreGo, which specialises in management technologies for events and is represented in Germany with offices in Hamburg and Munich, is strengthening its growth with a new investor. British private equity investment company Bregal Milestone has recently been secured as a capital provider as part of a strategic majority investment. With the additional financial resources, CoreGo plans to further optimise its technologies and international reach in order to continue meeting the growing demands of the events industry.
In future, the company also aims to provide increased support for major events, parallel event locations and international event series. To this end, the areas of automation, real-time data, reporting and AI-based functionalities are planned to be consistently further developed as part of the company’s “CoreGo Cloud”. The provider’s goal is said to be the creation of a unified platform that brings together open-loop payments, access controls, operations and other data at events and adapts flexibly to changing requirements.
CoreGo’s customers include Motorworld Munich, which regularly hosts events and has already used the provider’s technology to hold its own Christmas market (cf. EAP news of 20 Nov 2024). Further references include, among others, the Adele concert series in Munich in August 2024, which brought together around 730,000 fans of the British artist. ■
