Spain/Vietnam: Parques Reunidos Signs Agreement to Manage Ha Long Ocean Park

The Spanish operator group Parques Reunidos recently announced to manage the Vietnamese Sun World Ha Long Park complex, which is composed of a theme and a water park.

The company has already signed a strategic agreement with the Sun Group investment company for the next ten years. Both parks, which occupy a total area of 214 hectares directly at Ha Long City’s seaside, will open completely in the next year. “We are excited about the agreement with the Sun Group to manage this two new leisure parks. It represents a unique opportunity for us to enter the Asian market, a region that has a strong growth potential in the amusement park industry. The Asian market adds diversification to Parques Reunidos’ portfolio and strengthens our ompany’s growth strategy. We are confident that the alliance with the Sun Group will bring further growth through strategic alliances with business partners in other global markets,” commented Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Parques Reunidos.

Currently, the group operates 55 leisure facilities in twelve countries with more than 20 million visitors per year. (eap)
