Sphere Entertainment Appoints Felicia Yue as Executive Vice President & CTO

(eap) Sphere Entertainment Co. has appointed Felicia Yue as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Sphere. The company is known for its event venue Sphere in Las Vegas; a further location is planned for Abu Dhabi. Yue is regarded as an experienced executive in the field of entertainment technology.

Most recently, she worked for Infinite Athlete, a sports technology company, where she was responsible for product and technology functions. Prior to that, she served as Head of Live Events and Immersive Experiences at Amazon Prime Video. Other stages of her career included technology positions at the National Football League, ESPN, Perceptive Pixel and Sportvision.

In her new role as CTO at Sphere, Yue will be responsible for the technologies that enable Sphere’s immersive experiences, as well as for the technological infrastructure and platforms of the venues and Sphere Studios. In addition, she is to drive the maintenance and continuous development of the studios’ content capabilities and tools, which form the basis of the multisensory experiences of the venue format. Felicia Yue will be based in Burbank and will report to Jennifer Koester, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sphere.
