StarFlyer Spins in London

The “StarFlyer” from Funtime known from Austria’s Vienna Prater has been spinning at the river banks of the Thames in South Bank’s “Priceless London Wonderground” since the end of July. The 60 meter high StarFlyer has been acquired by Mellor Group and redesigned as well as equipped with double seats, but it’s not only its height that makes it the most striking one of the attractions that are still available for visitors at Jubilee Gardens until the end of September. Among the attractions is also a spinning coaster operated by Mellor as well. A brisk but comparatively short ride on the StarFlyer costs seven Pounds (about 8.8 Euros). A comparison: a standard ticket for a 30 minutes ride on the London Eye costs 17 GBP (21 Euros). However, the banks of the Thames are a popular and attractive location, especially when the weather is good, not only for the tourists of the metropolis. (eap)
