TEA Relocates European SATE Conference 2026 to Liseberg
(eap) The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) – the international umbrella organization for planners, designers and architects of themed attractions, headquartered in Burbank, California – will host this year’s SATE conference for the Europe and Middle East (EME) region from July 6 to 9 at the Swedish amusement park Liseberg. The relocation of the conference to Gothenburg, focusing on storytelling, architecture and technologies for experiences, was organized at short notice following the security-related cancellation of the event originally scheduled for March in Dubai.
“SATE program is a core experience for our members, especially here in Europe. When we announced the cancellation of the program in Dubai, we immediately began to discuss how we could still bring this creative, educational and important experience to our members. Liseberg CEO, Andreas Andersen and the team at Liseberg quickly partnered with us […]. We look forward to bringing the themed entertainment industry together to Liseberg. We will have engaging sessions and thought-provoking discussions as well as a lot of fun,” said association CEO Melissa Oviedo.
A preliminary program overview is available on the TEA website and will soon be supplemented with further information and ticket booking options. ■
