(eap) This summer, more than 120,000 people enjoyed “Siam Night” at Siam Park in Tenerife during its eight-week run in July and August, which came to an end on 29 August. The themed water park, located in the south of the Canary Island near Adeje, hosts the night-time event every year. In 2026, attendance increased by 20 per cent compared to the previous year – a historic record for Siam Night. According to the park, the event recorded particularly strong visitor growth among international guests.

Christoph Kiessling, Vice-President of Loro Parque Group, emphasized that Siam Night “not only enriches Tenerife’s tourist offering, but also has a direct impact on the local economy, benefiting hotels, restaurants, shops and transport. And most importantly, we have achieved this whilst maintaining our essence, with safety, hospitality and quality in every detail.”

The support and affection of the local community were also key to the event’s continued annual success.

Another key achievement of this year’s Siam Night, according to Kiessling, was its success in reaching new international audiences and expanding the brand’s commercial reach. According to the organizers, the evening format also appealed to travelers who has previously not considered visiting a conventional water park as part of their holiday plans. The positive response was also reflected in numerous comments and interactions on social media, with visitors particularly highlighting the night-time experience and its special atmosphere. ■
