TerSpegelt Holiday Park Opens First “Modi Funtower”

(eap) The Dutch Recreatiepark TerSpegelt – a five-star holiday park in the province of Noord-Brabant – has recently opened a new attraction: “TubbyJump”, a nine-metre-high slide with jumping platforms, jump slides and family slides, which can be used regardless of the weather and is designed to appeal to the whole family.

The attraction is a “Modi Funtower” by Swedice – a supplier and distribution partner of Neveplast, among others – and has now been installed for the first time. Specifically, the modular slide system comprises two 32-metre-long jump slides, where the riders land on a large BigAirBag^® cushion. There is also a 36-metre-long Family Slide to be used with inner-tubes by one or two people, and a total of three jumping platforms of different heights, which also end in an airbag cushion for a safe landing. The capacity of the attraction is specified by the manufacturer as at least 1,015 people per hour. An area of approx. 1,500 square metres is required for the installation of this product type.

The TerSpegelt holiday park also offers various water sports activities, a petting zoo, an indoor water and play park and an animation program. ■
