The Land of Legends: “Dragonfly Tower” Sets New Standards

(eap) Rising 50 metres into the sky, the new waterslide tower at the Turkish theme and water park resort The Land of Legends in Antalya is now open to guests. The slide tower, called “Dragonfly Tower”, is being promoted as Europe’s tallest waterslide tower and sets new standards for waterslide experiences in Turkey and beyond. A total of six slides – including a mat racer slide with multiple lanes – wind their way around the tower. Among them is the two-person tube slide called “Dragonfly Jet”, which features the world’s first “Helix Twist” element, creating an optical illusion.

Dragonfly is part of the new “Waterfly” area, which also includes “Butterfly Beach”, a zone specifically designed for children featuring multiple slides and a splash pad. Both the children’s area and the slide tower were supplied by WhiteWater. Read more about the project in the next issue of EAP. ■
