(eap) The major project for the new “Hofgut Waldruh” area, featuring themed gastronomy and a reception building in front of the entrance to Wildparadies Tripsdrill, reached an important milestone yesterday with its topping-out ceremony. The traditional celebration marked the completion of the shell construction work on the two new buildings as well as the visible progress of the overall project.

“The topping-out ceremony is an important moment for one of the largest construction projects in Tripsdrill’s almost 100-year history. With this project, we are creating new long-term experience and leisure offerings while also sending a clear signal for the further development of Tripsdrill. Our special thanks go to all the craftspeople and the companies involved, whose great commitment has made a significant contribution to the construction progress achieved so far,” explained the Tripsdrill management.

It is intended to be freely accessible to all guests – whether park visitors, overnight guests or passers-by. The gastronomic offer will be complemented by an outdoor garden restaurant area adjoining the themed gastronomy venue, a bar and a farm shop with selected products. In addition, modern conference rooms for companies are being created, offering views of the adjacent woodland and the nature resort.

An outdoor water play area as well as an indoor playground designed in the style of a Swabian pantry will also provide spaces for young visitors to let off steam. Overnight guests can look forward to a new reception building with an integrated wellness area and swimming pool. A vinotheque with a shop and a cafeteria are also planned. The theming follows Tripsdrill’s established “Swabia anno 1880” principle. The opening is scheduled for spring 2027. ■
