Construction for the new reception building and event gastronom is well underway. © Tripsdrill Shortly before the start of the 2026 season at Germany’s Erlebnispark Tripsdrill on 28 March (see EAP-News 27.11.25), there is news from the major construction site in Cleebronn: Almost one year after the groundbreaking ceremony in front of the entrance to the associated Wildparadies, the structural shell of the new reception building has now been fully completed. The canopies have already been covered with tiles, while the main roof will be tiled shortly. In doing so, Tripsdrill is focusing on sustainable construction and is using historic beaver-tail roof tiles sourced from demolished houses. At the same time, electrical and sanitary installation works are progressing at full speed. In the basement of the building, the team has already installed a large part of the water treatment and ventilation technology for the swimming pool area. In the future, the reception building, including a wellness area with a swimming pool and sauna, will serve as the central point of contact for overnight guests of the Natur-Resort.

The indoor playground of the future themed restaurant will be designed in the style of a Swabian pantry. // Rendering: Courtesy of Tripsdrill An underground tunnel, whose structural shell has also been fully completed, will connect the reception building with a new themed dining venue currently under construction at the same location. Work on this building has also made significant progress. Designed in the style of a historic farmhouse, the restaurant will be open year-round and accessible to all visitors. A 200-square-metre indoor playground for families with children is being created in the building’s basement. Designed in the style of a Swabian pantry, the play world will feature classic play elements such as slides, as well as climbing nets with interactive projection, funhouse mirrors and a photo point. The unmistakable humorous design style of Tripsdrill will also be reflected here. The barrier-free indoor playground is being implemented by KinderlandParks.

More on successful concepts for family play worlds can be found in our latest March/April issue. ■
