UAE: Emaar Entertainment Announces First VR Park for Dubai

Emaar Entertainment – the leisure and entertainment division of Emaar Properties – has recently announced the development of the first Virtual Reality (VR) park in Dubai, which is set to go into operation in the first half of 2018 at Emaar Properties’ Dubai Mall at the foot of Burj Khalifa.

Set across two levels, VR Park will offer a diverse line-up of VR, AR and experiential attractions, including interactive games and a rollercoaster. Visitors to the new venue will be able to enjoy the experiences together and in interaction. It will be aimed at a wide target group, from families over young adults to adrenalin seekers. Currently, gaming fans can already find a comprehensive video game and entertainment offer at Hub Zero, located at Dubai’s City Walk, which was developed by Meraas (cf. EAP, 3/17). (eap)
