UAE: motiongate Dubai Will Launch Hunger Games Attractions

Canada’s Lionsgate has announced recently that it has partnered with Dubai Parks and Resorts to bring a Lionsgate theme zone to motiongate™ Dubai, the Hollywood-themed park opening in Dubai in October 2016. Featuring several Hollywood film franchises, the new park will offer state-of-the-art theme park attractions and a retail facility inspired by Lionsgate’s global blockbuster “The Hunger Games” franchise. In addition, it will incorporate a live stage show based on “Step Up: All In” and “Step Up: Revolution”. motiongate Dubai, which will be one part of a larger theme park complex located in Dubai’s Jebel Ali zone (cp. EAP news from October 17, 2014), is anticipated to attract over three million visits per year. (eap)
