USA: “Fast & Furious: Supercharged” Comes to Orlando

Following the opening of “Fast & Furious: Supercharged” at Universal Studios Hollywood this past June (cf. EAP News from March 31, 2015), visitors of Universal Orlando Resort can look forward to a high-speed adventure, too. The resort recently announced that in 2017 it will introduce its own “Supercharged” attraction based on the seven “Fast & Furious” movies. The hydraulic motion-based ride will replace two other attractions: On September 8, guests will have the opportunity to experience “Disaster: A Major Motion Picture Ride… Starring YOU“ for the last time and the “Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue“ will be permanently closed later this year. By opening the new thrill ride, Universal Orlando Resort follows its growth strategy. 18 new attractions were introduced during the last five years. Next year will, amongst others, see the opening of the “Loew Sapphire Falls Resort” (cf. EAP News from October 3, 2014). (eap)
