USA: Michael Shelton Is New Vice President & Executive Director of IAAPA North America

Former Director of Education, Safety and Membership of IAAPA North America (NA), Michael Shelton, has been promoted to the regional association‘s Vice President and Executive Director effective April 4. “With his passion, knowledge, and leadership he will continue the great development of the North America regional office and further expand the regional services and products. The membership will benefit from the depth of Michael’s experience in the industry, pulling from nearly 30 years of experience as an operator and with the association,” noted Jakob Wahl, Chief Operating Officer of IAAPA, to whom Shelton will report.

Before entering his former position at IAAPA NA, Shelton held various management positions at Hyland Hills Parks & Recreation District (Denver, Colorado), Ice Center (Westminster, Colorado) and Water World (Denver, Colorado). (eap)
