Ungersheim/Alsace:First Aerial Park of the World to Be Opened in Summer of 2014

“The Little Prince” written by Antoine de Saint Exupéry is one of the most beautiful books of the world. This summer, a new theme park, the “Parc du Petit Prince”, which is dedicated to the story of the little blond boy, is to be opened in Alsace, France. The initiators of this project are the two French manufacturers Jérôme Giacomoni and Matthieu Gobbi from Aerophile, a company known for its tethered balloons. In the summer of last year, Giacomoni and Gobbi had already taken over the premises of the former theme park Bioscope, which was closed in September 2012 due to low attendance (cp. EAP news from 15 July 2013). A total of 50 million Euros is said to be invested into the project. How the two manufacturers want to implement this poetic, fun and educational project, can be read in one of our next magazine issues. (eap)
