Universal Studios Hollywood Starts Cooperation with Germany’s bookingkit
California’s Universal Studios Hollywood theme park recently started a cooperation with Berlin/Germany-based bookingkit company, provider of ticketing sales and administration software, to offer visitors from Europe the opportunity to book limited park tickets such as the “Universal Express” tickets or exclusive VIP experiences in advance via bookingkit’s connected sales partners and travel agencies (including TripAdvisor, mydays and Viator). The software-as-a-service solution enables the park to administrate ticket sales and promotion in real time, using one single platform for a number of distribution partners.
Among bookingkit’s German customers are the BELANTIS theme park in Saxony and Movie Park Germany in North Rhine-Westphalia, which are both operated by Spanish Parques Reunidos group (cf. EAP News from Aug 18th, 2016 & Sept 18th, 2017). (eap)
