Universal Studios Japan to Deliver More Immersive Pokémon Experiences
(eap) Following the announcement of their partnership in autumn 2021 for the development of interactive entertainment formats, Universal Studios Japan (USJ) and The Pokémon Company have now announced an intensification of their collaboration aimed at creating additional interactive theme park experiences based on the “Pokémon” IP. With this step, Universal intends to further expand its efforts to enhance the guest experience through fan-oriented, visitation-driving initiatives. Further details of the project are said to be announced at at later date. However, it is already clear that Universal Destinations & Experiences intends to roll out the Pokémon experiences to other parks within its global portfolio following their debut at the Japanese theme park resort.
