Uwe Barth Takes Over Management of Therme Erding

(eap) Therme Erding has a new – and familiar – Managing Director: Uwe Barth, who already served as Executive Director and authorised signatory for the thermal spa from 1999 to 2019, is returning to his former place of work. Barth has decades of experience in the thermal spa and leisure industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Thermengruppe Josef Wund, where he was responsible for the German sites Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim, Therme Euskirchen and Badeparadies Schwarzwald, which have since been brought together under the umbrella of the Therme Horizon joint venture, a holding company of Therme Group and private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.

“Therme Erding has stood for innovation, quality and exceptional guest experiences for many years. I look forward to continuing the successful development of the site together with the team and to providing fresh impetus for the future,” Barth explains.

The previous Managing Directors of Therme Erding, Marcus Maier and Bernhard Margraf, will continue to hold responsible positions within Therme Group. Margraf will remain at the site as Commercial Managing Director. ■
