Winnoland: “Train de la Mine” Begins Soft Opening

(eap) The French amusement park Winnoland, located about an hour’s drive south of Paris, has launched its new junior coaster “Train de la Mine” with a soft opening.
From now on, both young and old visitors can take a ride on the new coaster (model “Kalypso” by Vekoma Rides) through “Western BunnyTown” – a whimsical Wild West town featuring rabbit characters as protagonists. The coaster’s track stretches around 250 meters and reaches speeds of up to 46 km/h, with its highest point rising more than eleven meters above the ground.
Equally impressive are the artificial rock formations created by Petro Art Production, which define the backdrop of the new family coaster and feature various decorative elements. The concept design for the coaster area and the production of the fiberglass figures were carried out by Themics. ■
