purematic Welcomes Werner Dullmaier to Its Team

(eap) The Detmold (Germany)-based company purematic, a provider of visitor management and digital signage solutions for the leisure industry, is advancing its international expansion and has welcomed Werner Dullmaier to its team, who assumed the newly created position of Director of Global Business Development & Strategy as of January 1, 2026. In this role, Dullmaier will henceforth be responsible for the company’s further growth in international markets as well as the strategic development of the global business.

Werner Dullmaier brings more than two decades of experience in the operational management and strategic development of theme parks and attractions to his new position. He also possesses extensive expertise in data-driven technologies, amongst others through his previous positions at the Dutch company Convious and the Swedish Visit Group. “I am excited to take on this role at a time of dynamic growth. purematic’s solutions address precisely the operational challenges I have encountered throughout more than 20 years in the industry – from managing visitor flows to enabling data-driven decisions directly on site. I look forward to contributing my experience and actively shaping the company’s international development”, says Dullmaier.

Michael Post, CEO of purematic, adds: “Our technology addresses a universal challenge in the leisure industry: the intelligent management of visitor flows and the data-driven optimization of the guest experience. We see enormous global potential for our solutions. With a scalable product, a rapidly growing team, and a clear strategic direction, we are laying the foundation for sustainable international growth.”

purematic’s solutions are being used in leisure facilities such as Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, Europa-Park, Fort Fun, Djurs Sommerland, Phantasialand and Liseberg: Applications such as visitor counting at attractions and selected points within the destination’s infrastructure provide operators with actionable data on visitor flows in order to optimise offerings and processes. Through digital signage, i.e. screens, live information on waiting times can be communicated or targeted promotions displayed, for example.

purematic also cooperates with Mobaro, the Danish specialist for operations and maintenance solutions: The live data generated by purematic’s systems from park operations can be integrated into operational systems in order to make processes more efficient and further enhance the visitor experience.

How target group-specific or even personalised offers can be created and communicated individually thanks to data acquisition can be found in the EAP special feature “Data, Data, Data” – available free of charge in the EAP eReader. ■
