Denmark: New Lalandia Vacation Resort Opened in Søndervig

With the new Lalandia Resort in Søndervig, a coastal town in the west of the country, a third Lalandia location in Denmark was opened last week. On an area of around 15,000 square meters, overnight guests can enjoy a family vacation on the Danish North Sea coast in one of the 483 vacation homes, with an exciting array of experiences thanks to numerous activity offers. As at the two existing locations in Billund and Rødby, a generous “Aquadome“ indoor water park was developed here, which offers 14 slides (from ProSlide amongst others) and further water experiences. Other offerings include an adventure area with a playground, a padel tennis court, a sky-rider zip line and several restaurants and stores.

“We have been looking forward to this day for a long time, and it is a great pleasure to be able to open the doors to one of Denmark‘s biggest tourism destinations this year,“ said Jan Harrit, CEO of Lalandia, and is optimistic about the resort‘s first summer season: “We are looking forward to an incredibly exciting season with great demand from Danish and foreign guests. Things are looking especially good for the summer period in July and August in Søndervig.“ In its first operational year, Lalandia expects up to 500,000 overnight stays.
