Belgium: BoldMove Nation Presents Houba Urban Experience Centre Concept for Retail Complexes
With the “Houba Urban Experience Centre“ pop-up solution, the Belgian company BoldMove Nation has introduced a new concept for retail centres that want to increase the length of stay of customers and generate repeat visits through entertainment offers. The concept promises operators flexibility: the individual attractions that make up the Houba Urban Experience Centre do not have to be installed contiguously as an FEC, but can be located at completely different locations. The attraction portfolio is also scalable: depending on demand, the operator’s own entertainment offering can be expanded to include, for example, an interactive dark ride, a 4D cinema, various VR attractions and interactive learning games based on media technology.
To ensure that the offer is widely perceived, BoldMove is once again working with Mediatoon Licensing to use their “Marsupilami“ IP, which is highly popular especially in France and Belgium, for the design of all installations of the Houba Urban Experience Centre. In particular, the technology-based attractions with educational content, such as creative workshops or lessons in comic drawing, are expected to generate repeat visits for retail centres, according to CEO Benoit Cornet.
