Change in Ownership at Germany’s Snow Dome Bispingen

As of this past July Germany’s ski hall Snow Dome Bispingen, located in Lüneburg Heath, is managed by Skihallen Service GmbH, a company owned by three investors: Hamburg’s gastronome Frank Blin, Austrian Alois Haider and Treugast Solutions Group led by Prof. Stephan Gerhard. Snow Dome’s new Managing Directosr are Alois Haider and Prof. Stephan Gerhard. Franz Erhardt, who previously held several leading positions in the tourist and gastronomy industry, has taken over operational responsibility as General Manager of Snow Dome. The new owners took over the facility from Snow Dome Sölden in Bispingen GmbH, which is in liquidation process right now. The transaction was completed for an undisclosed sum. The new owners announced some changes to the ski hall’s catering area. Under the “Hofbräu” brand visitors can from now on enjoy Bavarian specialties. Furthermore, a new Bavarian-style decoration is part of the new “alpine world” concept. As already announced early this year (cf. EAP News from February 9, 2015), the outdoor area will be expanded with the addition of a beer garden and a children’s playground. (eap)
