Liseberg Recruites Back Former CEO and President Andreas V. Andersen To Former Position

Sweden‘s Liseberg leisure park just announced the return of Andreas Veilstrup Andersen in his former position as CEO and President. After Andersen had left the park back in April to return to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen (cf. EAP-News f. 29 April 2019), he now concluded Liseberg‘s search for a position replacement by his own. In his role he will continue to overlook the park’s major expansion projects such as the construction of the 454-room themed hotel and the indoor water park, both opening in 2023. “The main reason for my departure earlier this year was to find a more sustainable arrangement around my family-logistics. This has been resolved with a more flexible contract. I look very much forward to returning to Liseberg – and to complete the many exciting projects we have initiated over the last few years,“ says Andersen, who wo will take over at Liseberg again on 1st October.
