USA: Hersheypark’s New Candymonium Coaster Completes First Test Run

Despite the forced closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Pennsylvania-based Hersheypark, which is dedicated to the US-American chocolate and sweet treat manufacturer Hershey‘s, sees the on-site construction work in its new “Chocolatetown“ themed area (cf. EAP news of 17 Jan 19) continue.

This includes the further work progress on the new “Candymonium“ coaster (cf. EAP news of 26 July 19), a hypercoaster by Bolliger & Mabillard, which now had left the train station for its first complete test run. Hersheypark plans its reopening for the beginning of June. (eap)
