France: Nigloland Announces Novelty for 2021: “Krampus Expédition”

French amusement park Nigloland has announced the opening of a spectacular new attraction novelty for spring 2021. At an investment volume of twelve million Euro, “Krampus Expédition” will be a water coaster delivered by German manufacturer Mack Rides, which will be unique in France.

A new theme world will be created around the attraction, with “Krampus” – a demonic creature which accompanies St. Nicholas and is part of many Alpine fable stories – as the main character. Park co-founder Rodolphe Gélis explains, “This will be our most ambitious project ever at Nigloland. We’ve been working on this novelty since 2017. Krampus Expédition will be the biggest attraction in the entire park. Our aim is to put visitors right into the middle of an adventure in which they themselves become the protagonists: starting in the queue line and until the exit of the ride. Together with all our teams, we are working to bring together innovation, sensation and immersion in each new attraction, in order to transform Nigloland from an amusement park to a theme park. I am convinced that the new experience will even be richer and amaze our guests.”
