“Disney Wish” to Cruise Europe for the First Time

(eap) Disney Cruise Line is planning a global travel season once again for summer 2027 and, for the first time, will deploy a ship of the modern “Wish” class to Europe with the “Disney Wish”. Following a repositioning voyage, the ocean liner, which first set sail in 2022, will embark on three- to ten-day itineraries around the “Old Continent”, calling at destinations including Zadar in Croatia, Trieste near Venice in Italy, and Hellesylt in Norway, among others.

In addition to the Disney Wish, her two sister ships “Disney Treasure” and “Disney Destiny” also belong to this class, which combines a fresh design with modern technologies and an innovative entertainment offering (cf. EAP 6/2021). A further vessel of the Wish series is currently under construction at the German MEYER WERFT shipyard (cf. EAP News dated 23 Oct 2025).

In addition, visitors may look forward to a wide-ranging portfolio of experiences and attractions for the entire family. From a culinary perspective, three different themed restaurants are available, including “Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure”, Disney’s first “Frozen”-themed dining experience featuring live entertainment.

As early as this year, the “Disney Dream” (cf. EAP 1/2010) will once again sail European waters, before the Disney Wish explores local coastlines next year. ■
