(eap) The Czech company DIVR Labs is presenting its “InstaVR” virtual reality (VR) arena, which already counts several installations in Europe, to the American market for the first time. The special feature of the free-roam VR system lies in a self-service concept that enables operation without staff.

The compact InstaVR arena requires an area of 323 square feet (30 square meters), where three to six players can immerse themselves in virtual game worlds at the same time. “Pico 4 Ultra” VR headsets are used, which can be taken from a shelf after payment and selecting a game via a self-service kiosk. Currently, six games developed by DIVR Labs are available, with three additional titles set to follow next year. A game session lasts ten minutes.

“InstaVR Arena is an evolutionary step forward for free-roam VR,” explains David Torres, Head of US Sales at InstaVR. Thanks to the turnkey solution and an integrated game library, the system can be operated without an attendant and thus enables economically viable use even in a small space.

Currently, ten InstaVR locations are in operation worldwide, all in Europe – including one installation at Majaland Prague. Six further installations are planned, among others in Kuwait, Scotland and Moldova. US operators will be able to discover the system for the first time at the Amusement Expo International, which will take place next week from March 16 to 19, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. ■
