(eap) With the start of the 2026 season, the new roller coaster “Minifigure Speedway” was officially inaugurated this past weekend at LEGOLAND® Billund Resort in Denmark. The attraction is a Dueling Reverse Coaster from Zierer, as already introduced at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort in 2024 (see EAP 4/2024). As at the British site, the attraction in Billund has also been themed as a challenge between the teams “Legends” and “All Stars”.

The coaster features two parallel tracks, each with a length of approximately 263 meters. The ride takes place both forwards and backwards and lasts around 75 seconds at a maximum speed of 57 km/h. Visitors are permitted to ride from a height of 110 centimeters when accompanied by an adult, and from 130 centimeters unaccompanied.

“Minifigure Speedway is our largest investment in the park in several years. We are continuously working to enhance the Legoland experience for young and old alike, and with the dueling element, Minifigure Speedway creates fun and competition that the whole family can take part in,” emphasizes Michael Ottesen, CEO of Legoland Billund since 2024. ■
