LEGOLAND Florida Resort Appoints Brian Bacica as Park President
(eap) LEGOLAND® Florida Resort has appointed Brian Bacica as its new park president. In this role, he follows on Franceen Gonzales and will be responsible for the resort’s operational management, the guest experience, and future expansion plans. These include the LEGOLAND® theme park, the LEGOLAND® water park, the SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium, and the LEGOLAND® hotels.
Bacica has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the fields of leisure attractions, hospitality, and food & beverage. Among other roles, he held senior positions with Disneyland Resort as well as Universal Parks & Resorts in California and Florida and, over the course of his career, was responsible for key revenue areas, large-scale operational teams, and resort expansions. Most recently, Bacica served as Park President of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island, overseeing leisure destinations with more than 6,000 team members. Prior to that, he was Park President of Six Flags Great Adventure Resort in New Jersey, where he was overseeing operational and capital growth across theme parks and resort facilities.

The resort’s largest single investment to date as well as its first indoor roller coaster, the “Galacticoaster”, is scheduled to open on February 27, 2026. ■
