Alterface Expands Global Presence with New Leadership in the U.S. & Asia
(eap) Belgian interactive technology provider Alterface is stepping up its international growth by appointing three new key figures in the United States, China, and Korea. The aim is to strengthen its local presence and advance the development of tailored, immersive attractions worldwide.
In the U.S., Mattheis Carley takes on the role of Partnership Director. With over 15 years of experience in themed and location-based entertainment, he will focus on growing the FEC segment with offerings such as “Moviemax,” “Paint,” and “Action League.” Additionally, the interactive design concept “Wander” is being positioned specifically for master planners and designers.
Yvonne Yi will lead business development for the Chinese market. “I am excited to increase Alterface’s brand awareness in China and work with government agencies and state-owned companies to bring our interactive attractions to a wider audience,” she says.
In Korea, Joseph Kim is tasked with expanding Alterface’s reach across the region. “My goal is to develop the Korean market for Alterface, bringing our innovative mix of creativity and technology to FECs, LBEs, and large theme parks,” Kim states.
Alterface’s global expansion strategy also reflects a broader industry shift toward smaller, more personalized experiences. The company is actively responding by developing new technologies and creative concepts tailored to these trends.
“Alterface is entering an exciting new chapter of growth,“ emphasizes Alterface CEO Stéphane Battaille. “By expanding our presence in key regions, we are ensuring we stay close to our partners and audiences around the world. This strategic move allows us to better understand local needs and deliver more meaningful, immersive experiences everywhere.” ■
