Austria: Kraftwerk Living Technologies Receives AV Award for 5D Castle Theater

Kraftwerk Living Technologies, an Austrian specialist for audiovisual system integration, recently received the AV Award from AV Magazine in the “Best Entertainment Venue of the Year” category for its 5D Castle Theater which was opened in summer 2015 in the Chinese Chimelong Ocean Kingdom amusement park.

The multi-award-winning, record-breaking 5D theater venue features a vast 3D screen measuring 88 meters in width and 18 meters in height. Furthermore, it features 1,000 4D seats and the world’s largest audio system with 2,119 Meyer Sound speakers. Christian Hofer, Managing Partner and Technical Director at Kraftwerk Living Technologies, is proud of the award: “We aimed at creating a visitor attraction that surpasses any existing experience by not only its size, but also its quality, following the credo: ‘Go big and be unforgettable’. […] We could not be more excited about winning this award and getting such great recognition for the project all across the industry!” The AV Award is already the third award for the 5D Castle Theater project – in February this year it was honored with the InAViation Award, in June Kraftwerk received the InstallAward.
