Austria: Sonnentherme Lutzmannsburg Waterpark Opens a Lot of New Attractions

Austria’s Sonnentherme in Lutzmannsburg has been back in operation again since July 7, 2012 after a construction period of only five months. The waterpark expanded its attraction line-up as announced in EAP 6/2011. Six new waterslides including one nearly 300 meter long X-Tube slide supplied by wiegand.maelzer are part of the new attractions. Some of the additions can be found in the outdoor area of the swimming pool facility, e.g. a Bobby Car Race or a large relaxation landscape. A new 100-seat event arena with catering provides more capacity. The guests of the Sonnenpark hotel can now access the hotel’s own new “Sunny Bunny’s water world” via a new walkway.
