The technology company Connect&GO, whose expertise focuses on RFID-based wristbands and operations management systems for the attractions and entertainment industries, recently expanded its team with the addition of Ted Molter, former Chief Marketing Officer of the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. In his new role as Senior Business Development Director at Connect&GO, Molter – who has more than 30 years of experience in the zoo, aquarium, and attractions industries – is expected to drive company growth in the United States. Most recently, he served as a self-employed consultant collaborator after 22 combined years in his roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Marketing for the San Diego Zoo.

On his new role, Molter says, “Connect&GO has an outstanding company culture and a truly revolutionary product that can change the future of zoos and attractions management. Their ‘Konnect’ all-in-one management platform presents a unique opportunity for zoos to step into the future of attractions management, and I’m excited to help them embrace the full potential of their operations.”

“We strive to hire team members who truly understand the needs of the clients we serve. With Ted joining our team, we are excited to strengthen our foothold in the zoos and aquariums market and really understand what matters most to these clients, so we can help them succeed in the best possible way,” adds Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO.

The Montréal-based company is also pleased to have successfully closed another round of Series A financing worth more than 17 million Canadian dollars – an additional six million dollars have been added for further company growth through the injection by investors Carey, Finalta Capital and Gestal. In addition, Connect&GO itself will invest more than one million dollars in the launch of a forecasting and traffic management system for the leisure industry, in collaboration with Moov AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence, also based in Montréal, which will be presented at this year’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando.
