Canada: Triotech Launches New “Reef Rider“ Interactive Adventure for Its “Storm“ Coin-Op Simulator

For its StormTM coin-operated VR simulator, which was introduced during last year’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando (cf. EAP 1/2020), Canada’s Triotech company has now launched “Reef Rider” as the second interactive gaming content for the attraction. Two players can compete with each other in a virtual underwater world, trying to catch bubbles and other power-ops. There is no need to use controllers since the implemented motion detection technology by Triotech captures the hand movements of the players.

“StormTM was an amazing success when we introduced it in Orlando. Interactivity is what distinguishes the StormTM from other VR simulators. In this regard, it is unique in the market. Add to that the competition between riders, the super precise motion, special effects, and the resulting experience is refreshingly new and fun. […],” comments Ernest Yale, CEO of Triotech. (eap)
