Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark to Be Opened in Thailand

 The construction of the new Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark is currently underway in Bang Saray on the east coast of Thailand, close to Pattaya. The new waterpark is built on a 5.6 hectare large area and is scheduled to open in 2013. The park’s theming will combine elements of the Amazon Rainforest as well as popular animated series and toon heroes including Ben 10, Johnny Bravo, The Power Puff Girls and The Amazing World of Gumball. A gigantic family wave pool, an adventure river, speed-racing slides, family raft slides as well as a large interactive water play fortress for kids will be the signature attractions of the park. All of the attractions will be supplied by Polin. Cartoon Network Amazone is being developed in conjunction with Amazon Falls Co. Ltd. (eap)
