China/Germany: Panoramic View from 80 Meters – New Sky Tower on Hainan is Open!

Visitors to the Hainan R&F Ocean Paradise leisure complex, which is located on China’s tourism island of Hainan, are now able to enjoy a panoramic view of the leisure world with its various themed areas and beyond: In the new Sky Tower (supplied by Huss Park Attractions), visitors ascend to a height of 80 meters in an enclosed, rotating cabin with panoramic windows. Here, the cabin slowly completes at least one 360-degree-circle so that guests can enjoy the view in all directions from their seats, which are arranged in a circle and face outward.

According to the manufacturer, the tower, which is 120 meters high in total, was designed to safely withstand the tropical storms that frequently occur in this region. The air-conditioned cabin is also suitable for wheelchair users, and there are no age or body height restrictions for experiencing the new Sky Tower. In keeping with the park and its close proximity to the sea, the observation tower was decorated with maritime motifs. (eap)
