Christian Woller Appointed as CEO of Therme Horizon
(eap) Therme Horizon, Therme Group’s joint venture with CVC Capital Partners, has announced the appointment of Christian Woller (pictured) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, Woller will be responsible for the company’s strategic expansion through new developments and enhancements to existing thermal spas. Therme Horizon currently comprises five operational facilities: Therme Bucharest, Therme Erding, Therme Sinsheim, Therme Euskirchen and Badeparadies Schwarzwald in Titisee. The latter three destinations became part of Therme Group in 2025 through the acquisition of the Thermengruppe Josef Wund portfolio (see EAP News of 8 December 2025).
Woller has more than two decades of experience in leading and growing large-scale entertainment destinations. During his career at Merlin Entertainments, he held several senior leadership positions, including VP of LEGOLAND Billund Resort. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Merlin’s theme park resorts and indoor attractions in Europe and the APAC region, overseeing commercial and operational development across Europe, Asia and Australia.
