EXPLORIA Escape Room Expands with New Mission

© Foto: Ralf Hüls 2021 (eap) Germany’s ELORIA Erlebnisfabrik & Eventlocation in Bottrop is expanding its related EXPLORIA escape room with a seventh puzzle mission. Starting on 1 August, visitors will be able to enjoy a new, approximately two-hour adventure called “Das Verschwinden der Isabella Strauß” (“The Disappearance of Isabella Strauß”), which for the first time also includes the second floor of the EXPLORIA world and can be played by individuals – also a first for Exploria.

The new mission is a fictional crime story about the actress “Isabella Strauß”, who mysteriously disappeared from a hotel room. Using various puzzles and tasks, visitors follow the clues and eventually end up in a room at the “Maripos Hotel”...

“Since opening our main attraction in spring 2022, we have continuously expanded the game world – adding new buildings and areas as well as puzzle elements and entire missions. The consistently positive feedback from our guests motivates us to invest in the Bottrop location,” emphasizes Michael Bierhahn, Managing Director of ELORIA. “The expansion of the first buildings with a second floor was planned by us from the outset and considered in the design of the city. We already have numerous ideas in mind on how we can continue to grow our puzzle world and thus Europe’s largest escape room, offering our guests even more unforgettable experiences.” ■
