Efteling Celebrates Opening of Efteling Grand Hotel
(eap) As of today, guests visiting the Dutch theme park Efteling can stay overnight at the newly opened “Efteling Grand Hotel“ – a newly built, palace-style hotel located directly inside the park near the main entrance. It features 140 rooms with a total capacity of 644 beds, along with two restaurants, a swimming pool, and a spa area.
With the launch of this new hotel, Efteling – one of the Netherlands’ largest and most popular leisure destinations – continues to expand and diversify its existing accommodation portfolio, which also includes the recently reopened “Efteling Wonder Hotel” (formerly known as the Efteling Hotel), the holiday village “Efteling Bosrijk”, and the nature-style “Loonsche Land” resort located nearby.
In honour of the festive opening of the Efteling Grand Hotel, Efteling hung the world‘s largest bow on the façade of the new luxury hotel. Just the bow is 16.74 metres wide and 17.15 metres high. This morning, during the opening ceremony, it was announced that Efteling has officially achieved the Guinness World Records™ record for “Largest Ribbon Bow”.
