Efteling Reports Positive Annual Results 2025
(eap) The Dutch theme park Efteling again achieved a strong performance in 2025. Over the past year, the park recorded a total of 5.78 million visits (2024: 5.6 million), including 4.98 million individual visitors (2024: 4.9 million). Operating revenue amounted to 347 million euro, while net profit reached 27.2 million euro. Guest satisfaction also showed further improvement: on 80 days, Efteling achieved a rating of 9+. In the long term, the park aims to reach this level on at least half of all operating days.

Fons Jurgens, CEO of Efteling, commented: “Achieving a 9+ rating on 80 days for the first time fills us with great satisfaction and pride in all our employees, who work with passion every day to enchant our guests.” He added: “With the Efteling Grand Hotel, we also introduced a significant expansion of our multi-day stay offering in 2025 for both domestic and international guests. As we are bound by an environmental permit that limits us to a maximum of five million individual visitors per year, we are pleased to have remained within this framework. Naturally, we hope to welcome many guests again in 2026 – in line with the applicable regulations. At the same time, we are confident about the prospect of obtaining a new permit in the future.”
The opening of the new drop tower attraction “Hooghmoed” at Efteling is scheduled for May 1. Further details will be provided in one of the upcoming magazine issues. ■
