(eap) It’s that time of year again: to mark the upcoming Halloween season, more than 150 terrifying creatures will be wreaking havoc at Europa-Park as part of the “Traumatica – Festival of Fear” popular horror event from September 26 to November 8, 2025 (with an exclusive preview on September 24) in Rust. This year, guests will be able to experience a total of seven different horror attractions (“Cinema Macabre – Eleanor Returns,” “Grim’s Funhouse – Wakala’s Wonderland,” “Murderdome – Death Race,” “Studio 13 – Callback,” “Tarot House – Last Descend,” “The Hill – Hide and Seek,” and “Unknown – Exodus”). Other highlights besides the scare attractions include “Eden Manor,” an exclusive entertainment theater that surprises with interactive and virtual discoveries, as well as the new club location “The Forbidden,” which invites guests to the “Dance of the Dead” on Fridays and Saturdays. In addition, guests can also enjoy roller coasters such as “Pegasus,” “Matterhorn-Blitz,” and “Fluch der Kassandra VR” (Curse of Cassandra VR), as well as the VR ride “Brain Shocker” in the Traumzeit-Dome. Traumatica takes place Fridays through Sundays from 7 p.m. for guests aged 16 and older.

In keeping with the spooky festivities, park guests will have the opportunity to experience the two musicals “SPOOK ME!” (premiered in 2014) and “SPOOK ME!2” (premiered in 2024) daily at the “Europa-Park Teatro” (Italian themed area) starting September 20. Opulent costumes, detailed stage sets, and a specially composed soundtrack ensure that viewers are transported into an elaborately staged musical world based on the mystical story of a mysterious haunted castle. Both musicals were produced by Thomas Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park. The music, performed by a 60-piece symphony orchestra, was composed by Hendrik Schwarzer. ■
