Europa-Park and bookingkit Launch Technology Partnership
(eap) Germany’s largest theme park is expanding its digital infrastructure and will in future rely on bookingkit as a technology partner for the online distribution of experiences. The Berlin-based software company offers one of the leading platforms for the booking, marketing and management of leisure offerings in Europe. The aim of the cooperation is said to be to significantly expand Europa-Park’s distribution network on the basis of the existing ticketing solution in order to reach new target groups.
With more than seven million visitors in its anniversary year and consistently high visitor demand beyond that, Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort ranks among Europe’s most popular theme park destinations. The new technology partnership is intended to enable the central management and synchronisation of all distribution channels – including booking platforms such as GetYourGuide and Tiqets. In addition, the bookingkit solution is also to be used for the structured expansion of B2B partnerships with regional resellers such as hotels or tourist information offices: affiliate partners will be integrated into the system and booking flows centrally evaluated.
