Familiepark Drievliet Announces Novelties for 2026
(eap) For nearly 90 years, Familiepark Drievliet remained under family ownership – in 2024, the leisure destination located in The Hague entered a new chapter in its history with its acquisition by the French Looping Group. Since then, a number of changes have taken place, setting the course for the future: In addition to a new brand identity, including a matching logo, the Dutch amusement park redefined its target audience based on the results of a comprehensive visitor research. From now on, the park intends to focus primarily on families with children who wish to spend an adventurous and fun-filled day in a family-friendly atmosphere, as Marketing, Sales & Retail Manager Danny van der Weel described the new guest experience.
For the coming year, Drievliet announced investment measures amounting to 2.5 million euros, which are to be directed both towards the creation of new experiences and attractions and the redesign of existing areas and rides. A brand-new addition to the park’s attraction portfolio will be the new ride “StoomCycloon,” a Sidecar XL installation supplied by Italian manufacturer Technical Park.
Further details on the novelties at Familiepark Drievliet and other European amusement parks can be found in EAP issue 2/2026. ■
