Four Two-Star Chefs Create New Menu for Eatrenalin
(eap) The multisensory dining experience Eatrenalin at Europa-Park will present a new culinary concept starting 31 August. Responsible for the creation is Peter Hagen-Wiest, who has been in charge of the restaurant’s culinary direction since May of this year. The chef, who has been leading “Ammolite – The Lighthouse Restaurant“ at Europa-Park Resort since 2012 and has received two Michelin stars there for the eleventh consecutive time, has invited three additional chefs – each holding two Michelin stars themselves – to collaborate on the new menu.

Together with Christian Kuchler (Restaurant Schäfli, Wigoltingen/Switzerland), Stefan Heilemann (Widder, Zurich) and Paul Stradner (Villa René Lalique, Wingen-sur-Moder/Alsace), Hagen-Wiest created an eight-course fine dining menu presented to Eatrenalin guests in interplay with the restaurant’s immersive environments. “Working with friends on one idea and giving each room our own touch is a special experience – both for us chefs and for the guest,” Hagen-Wiest explains.

Each of the four chefs reinterprets one of the themed dining rooms: Heilemann curates the “Ocean“ room with a dish of salmon trout, quinoa, sweet potato, passion fruit and mint. Stradner brings his culinary style to the “Umami“ room with red mullet, citrus fruits, pak choi and miso. In the “Universe“ room, Kuchler presents venison, duck liver with celery, venison jus, red cabbage salad and lingonberry gel as the main course. The finale is created by Hagen-Wiest himself in the “Incarnation“ room with a chocolate tart, milk chocolate ganache, pineapple, mango, tamarind and rice.
The collaboration of four two-star chefs results in a culinary experience of the highest level, further strengthening Eatrenalin’s brand positioning.
