Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines & RWS Global to Create New Entertainment Offerings
(eap) The Norwegian cruise company Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, based in the UK, has entered into a strategic partnership with international entertainment company RWS Global to modernize and expand the entertainment program on board its fleet. Based on guest feedback, the offering will be more closely tailored to passengers’ wishes in the future. Starting in February 2026, new, dynamic daily programs will be introduced on the three smaller ocean ships “Bolette” “Borealis” and “Balmoral”; starting in September 2026, the program will be implemented across the entire fleet, including new theater productions and a variety of live experiences. The plan is to offer a diverse range of shows, including musicals, Latin, rock, pop, disco, and country, complemented by theme nights, game shows, and gastronomic formats. The aim is to create fresh and unforgettable experiences for guests without neglecting the characteristic charm of the shipping company.
Cruise line CEO Samantha Stimpson emphasizes that the partnership reflects the desire to offer guests more choice and enjoyment when traveling. RWS CEO Ryan Stana highlights that the collaboration combines tradition and innovation and heralds a new era in onboard entertainment. As a full-service partner, RWS Global will be responsible for overseeing the shipping company’s entire entertainment operations in the future, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand development across the entire fleet. ■
