(eap) Germany’s Freizeit-Land Geiselwind has announced five novelties for the 2026 season. Three of the coming new offerings are already being specified: the “Wilde Hilde” roller coaster (RES Rides) from Schwaben Park moves to Geiselwind (see EAP-News of 16 Oct 2025), in addition there will be a new indoor playground, and a new themed area with a dark ride from aufwind.

The dark ride is to be called “Ravenmoor Academy” and will be in a new themed world directly next to the existing haunted attraction “Horror Lazarett”. In Ravenmoor, visitors are to accompany the student “Mora” through a mysterious academy in which – as it is said – nothing is as it seems. Creepy effects and surprising scenes are expected to characterize the approximately ten-minute ride experience. In addition to the new dark ride featuring a full-motion ride system, the new themed world is to include a castle building and park covering more than 2,500 square meters, as well as a café with an observation level overlooking the entire area.

The new indoor playground, which – like the Wilde Hilde – is to be built in the “Tukis verrückte Farm” (Engl.: Tuki’s Crazy Farm) themed area, will offer more than 1,000 square meters of play space across three floors. While children can romp around and explore there, the new “Dino Café” is a perfect place for accompanying persons, providing a view of the play area.

In addition to the new attractions, the amusement park is planning a new entrance area, which is to feature, among other things, more ticket counters, modern access points, a new guest service and first-aid area, as well as a forecourt with fountain and seating. Construction work is scheduled to begin in mid-January and be completed in time for the season-start on 28 March 2026. ■
